twelvecolonies has just started up again, and it would be great if we could get more members! Participants are divided into three teams for challenges: Team Basestar, Team Colonial One, and Team Galactica. The first two challenges are still open! If you've never diddled around much with writing fic or making graphics, now's your chance to try it out in a low pressure, fun environment. And even if graphics/fic isn't your thing, there will be puzzles and all manners of fangirling/fanboying out!

It's that time of year again. Planning is in full force for this
year's International Day of Femslash and FemSlashCon, 14-15th July,
with an array of new and exciting events, such as Femslash Radio, an
IDF ARG, a bumper Audio-fic Library, and more challenges and ficathons
than you can shake a stick at, also scheduled for the weekend.
Once again we need your help to determine which fandoms get their own
panel at the convention or show on Femslash Radio. Use the link below

Hello, your former mod here! I changed (half) my username. If you're not familiar with
f_march_madness, it's basically a giant poll where people vote on their favorite characters for no particular reason. So why should you care? Well, our girl KARA THRACE is currently losing badly to SANSA STARK (Game of Thrones) -- who already beat BUFFY by a nose. Now, I have some sympathy for the Sansa Stans, who have to deal with their horribly misogynist show/fandom. But does she really deserve to move ahead to the next round over KARA, I ask you???
